It is simple to make android phone as portable hotspot. There are certain steps to follow.You need a 3G internet connection on your mobile.
1. GoTo the Home screen
2. GoTo settings
3. Click More
4. Select Wireless & Networks and then Tethering & portable hotspot.
5. Check the box next to Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
6.Click Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings and you can edit the Wi-Fi network name, and choose a password.
7. Click connect and then you'll need to enter the password for the Wi-Fi hotspot. Once connected, you'll be able to surf the web using the handset's 3G or 4G connection to your heart's content.
